...Welcome To Heather's Pet's Page...

Well howdy there, I see you've stumbeled acrost my pets place... I guess I may as well start telling you about the critters that own me and fill my life...

First off, I have my horse. Faith. The Paso Fino. She's a very dark chestnut with a big white blaze down her face. she's 6 years old. I got her as a very abused 3yro, who wasn't even halter broke. I broke and trained her my self. We've been threw alot... me and that mare. She's my baby.

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Next we wander down to the dogs. And right now I have 5. They are

  • Miniature Schnuazer, Wiley, 2yro male, salt and pepper.
  • Miniature Schnuazer, Luna, Almost 2, Female, Silver.
  • Michro Miniature Schnauzer, Fancy, almost 2, female, black and silver (phantom).
  • Golden Retriever, Diesel, 6yro male, Med. Gold.
  • Golden Retriever, Molly, 2 1/2yro, Female, Light Golden.

    *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Now a little bit about them... Diesel i've had the longest, not because he's oldest, I've had him a couple years. A lady was going threw a divorce, and they felt where she was moving too, that he was too hyper for the old dog there and wanted to find him a home, so I ended up being the home. He drives me crazy and he's a pain in the ass, but he's not a bad dog.

    *-*-*

I guess i'll go on to Luna and Fancy, The evil female schnauzers. I'd been wanting a Giant Schnauzer, and still would like one. I'd want a black female... anyway I put an ad in the paper, because after I lost my job and how much they cost (Giant Schnauzers run about $2,000 a puppy some are more, some are less...) Well I placed an ad that my dad is allergic to Dogs and that schnauzers are the only breed he can be around, and I was looking for one. (Schnuazers are a Hypo-Allergnic). Well I got a call one day, from a lady that she saw my ad, and that she's very sick, and couldnt keep her schnuazers any more. At this point I had JUST got a labrador puppy (she was 8, almost 9 months old). So we go out, To look at these dogs... I didn't think we'd even make it in the house, They were like the dogs from hell. I was waiting for their heads to spin around and their eyes to glow red. Well we finally made it in the house and the dogs chilled out. We ended up taking them. Now I regret doing it, but anyway. Because of them I had to find my lab a new home... Their former owner spoiled them so badly they're almost totally unmanagable. They bark constantly, they bite, they throw fits and tantrums, they distroy things, They totally REFUSE to house break. They were SUPPOSED to be house broken before we got them, well, they go EVERYWHERE, it's rediculas. I'm hoping I can place them in new homes, before I move to texas.

Now on to Wiley, The male schnauzer, I recently got him. He's a major abuse case. He was so matted when I got him, he could hardly walk with out ripping hair out, he had to go to the bathroom all over him self because he was so matted over his 'areas' that he couldn't get around it. his hair was "burned" if you leave a black or dark dog outside in the sun their hair 'burns' and turns like an orange-ish color. thats the way his hair was. I spent over 6 hours grooming him. I had to just shave him completely down. he still looks kinda funny. But he's a sweetheart. He has sepperation anxiety though, and because of it it's causing alot of problems, I can't even take a shower alone. He'll get in the shower with me, If I leave him, even for just a minute, he throws a tantrum he'll distroy anything he can to get away or past whatever it is that's impeading him being with me. And now he's not wanting to house break. And he barks and queels if I leave him for even a second, so... Since i'm planning on moving as it is, it may be better to find him another home, with someone who can be with him ALL the time. Where as, I can't.

    *-*-*

Now I guess i'll tell you about Molly. She's a 2yro golen retriever, she'll be 3 this year. She's a beautiful Light golden color. She's the lightest golden retriever i've ever had. I've always wanted a light one, but after honey bear, my baby was killed I said I never wanted another golden retriever again. Well, Molly's former owners couldn't keep her. They unexpectedly we're going to have to move in to an apartment for about 5 months before their new house is finished being built. and in the apartment they can only have 2 dogs. They had 3 golden retrievers, and it came down to, either having a place to stay and 2 dogs, or no place, and 3. so they had to find her another home. They really did NOT want to. They were crying when we took her... and honestly I know what they were going through...At This point i'm hoping to take Molly, and Diesel and my horse when I move to texas.

    *-*-*

Well, i'll touch on the ferrets here. I have 3. i've had a total of 5 over the years, two have passed away. Right now I have 3.

  • Lilly, Sterling Silver mitt, female, about 6-7yro.
  • Rizzo, Cinnamon Sable, male, about 6ish.
  • Rain, Normal Sable, Female, about 2-3yro.

I love my ferrets very much, but living here isn't good for them, because of my dad who's allergic to them, I can't even let them out of their cage any more. I can't give them the love and attention they need and diserve. So i'm trying to find them a really good home, and so I don't have to put them through the stress of moving to texas.
